Our Story.

Shortly after starting his legal career, in 1983, Hyram was given the responsibility of opening the Florida office of a Chicago-based Insurance Defense firm. In 1989, Hyram was instrumental in opening Broward County’s first multilingual law firm. During his legal career he has tried over 400 jury trials and 250 non-jury trials representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex personal injury and wrongful death cases, including traumatic brain injury cases. 

Hyram has been a pioneer in spreading the concept of trial court mediation throughout Florida, the nation and internationally. It is this passion that led to the foundation of Montero Mediation Inc., which officially opened its doors in 2021.
